I absolutely hate school. I don't understand the point to it. I know students need it and the credits in high school in order to achieve the goals later in life they want, but for example, if you want to be a feline biologist as your major occupation, social studies has NO FUCKING RELEVANCE. There's no reason why you should be forced to do the classes in school that have nothing to do with the profession you want to pursue. Math would go well with that occupation because you'd need it to measure medicine per pound for an animal, or find out how much to feed each animal depending on how much they weigh, or something else along those lines. You should be able to choose what classes you want based on what you want to do with your life, kind of having to choose between one of these three: math, language arts, or social studies, based on which of those three that pertain to what you plan on doing. I'm just really fucking pissed because I am in spanish class right now, and I don't feel like learning Spanish has any real contributive sense to my life plans. Like really, I honestly couldn't care less about learning a language I don't care about. I would so much fucking rather learn French and switch out of my spanish class to Jazz. I wish my band director had started plans on the new jazz band earlier because I would have switched out of my spanish class IMMEDIATELY I FUCKING HATE IT but no. He has to take his time and make sure everything is right, which I respect, but I wish he'd have thought about it earlier in his career at my school.
